1) Yuck, yuck, yuck - expect for the little thunder and lightning and the smell of wet earth.
(I will never understand how people talk about loving the rain).
2) We are so NOT ready for the monsoons. Thankfully we will get another 2 weeks at most but we are so not having a smooth monsoon this year.
Time to go buy some rain shoes/chappals.
100% sure that the idea of buying a second class pass (train) for a short while is a bad one. So renewal of my first class pass.

Heh, the smell of wet earth, everyone in Bombay seems to be talking about it! (It's called petrichor, btw, as a friend helpfully informed me.)
