I thought the post was hilarious.
I thought having 2 names was painful (you know one official name and one pet name that the whole family calls you of sorts thought it's a little more complicated in my case) but obviously having a "different" name can be more painful.

Seriously do we know each other or is that the first nick name that would be the most annoying to someone called Deepali?
Haha sorry that's not the right way but I will give you something since you at least tried. I not only have a second name, I get called by a nick name of my second name, which is more annoying.
