I had a post earlier about vivid words. Words that when combined draw images. Some how 'Sad Smiles' does that.
The thought came when I was looking at pics of my Nani (she's in Curacao with my Maama) and in none of the pictures is she smiling properly. One place she actually looks exhausted and faking a smile so the term just popped into my mind.
