Intelligent but not smart

Well I know someone who is intelligent (actually very) but not smart...most people think that being smart and intelligent are the same...but I disagree and very strongly...the 2 are very different and its not about being book smart v/s street smart. Its more about having knowledge but not enough wisdom. Its about seeing things but not through them. Its about realising but not accepting. Its about knowing better but not doing better. Its about knowing how bad the darkness is but not removing the blindfold that covers your eyes. I feel sorry for this person because this person is intelligent enough to be greater than great but just isnt smart enough to get there...
