I need a goal post

Was talking to a friend who mentioned that he has to figure out an action plan to get to his goals and I mentioned that I have no goals let alone action plans. So he said 'you need a goal post'. And its true. I have no focus, not ambition, no goal. It feels like such a waste because I know I could achieve anything I put my mind to but I put my mind to nothing...
