Coz all you wanna do is the take the risk and see if its worth it. Its human psychology, any human always would like to experience something new. Even if it is risking his or her own life. Though death or in this case risking are rather seen not to be encouraged in today's society, we as a race still follow our own instincts and therefore the result of such drastic changes from century to another.
